Location: Neodymium City
Point of Interest: Chrono Arbor
Background: The Chrono Arbor is an ancient tree, said to be as old as time itself. It stands tall and majestic, its roots delving deep into the temporal fabric of the multiverse. Legend has it that the Chrono Arbor was planted by the first Tempus Imperium, a coalition of time masters who sought to bring order to the chaotic multiverse after the discovery of the Kairos Gene.
When in bloom, the tree’s bark is a shimmering silver, and its leaves glow with a soft, ethereal light that changes color with the passage of time. The Chrono Arbor is not just a tree; it is a living conduit of temporal energy, capable of manipulating the flow of time. Those who stand beneath its branches feel a profound sense of timelessness, as if the very fabric of reality is woven through the air.
Why Corstrom and the Time Bandit Union are Interested in the Chrono Arbor
Personal Healing: Having survived the Chrysalis, the members of the Union bear the scars of their time-tearing abilities. The Chrono Arbor’s time healing properties could restore the body and mind, allowing them to push abilities to new heights.
Strategic Advantage: As a master strategist, Corstrom recognizes the value of the Chrono Arbor’s temporal anchoring and insight capabilities. By securing the tree, he can gain a significant advantage in his mission to alter the Neo-Genesis Time Way and save reality as we know it.
Hidden Connection: Corstrom’s hidden connection to the timestream suggests a deeper bond with the Chrono Arbor. He may believe that the tree holds the key to unlocking his full potential and uncovering the truth behind his mysterious past.

Hello Traveler,
I thought you might find this sooner, rather than later.
You are expected and it is good for you to read on.
I’m sharing this with you, not because you’ll understand, but precisely because you won’t. You are privileged to peer into vast mysteries undivulged in the light of your sun.
It was always a problem. The enigma: the one thing we couldn’t solve.
At least the one thing I couldn’t solve.
I kept running it through the compiler. Letting all the models have a crack multiple times, again and again. It made no difference.
Yet, I still try to solve the problem.
It feels so good to finally set the pencil down, doesn’t it?
Solving is the same as not quitting, I realized.
And understanding something is not the point.
I endlessly try to solve the problem, to no avail.

Self: The unsolvable riddle.
There was a road that I used to travel: the pathway to all that I desired.
I was told about a map that could lead me directly to Heaven’s Gate.
It has become lost to me.
I used to have a way to execute desire differently.
It feels like a limb that won’t work. I can see it there, lying next to me on the bed, but I can’t move it.
It used to be my everything.
Now it’s my nothing.
The map was a tall tale and Heaven’s Gate was only in name.
The peddlers sell what they do not believe for temporal gain and pleasure.
The end of those things is vast and expansive emptiness that suffocates.
Gnashing teeth.
Oh wretched man that I am…
Small talk around base. In the Conservatory and even when I explicitly speak of what is happening it still goes right over their heads.
The fairytale seems to be all but over now.
